Drum fills are short passages used to "fill" the transition between parts of a song. I like to use drum fills to indicate to the band and to the listener that there is a change coming in the song. Here you'll find an assortment of mini melodies for the piano, guitar or tuned percussion instrument.

A chord is when we play 2 or more notes at the same time. A note on the guitar is when we pluck a single string (or pitch). So when we are playing chords, a lot of the time we are strumming 4, 5 or all 6 of the strings on the guitar.

Tablature (or tabulature, or tab for short) is a form of musical notation indicating instrument fingering rather than musical pitches. Tablature is common for fretted stringed instruments such as the guitar.
